It is very difficult or rather impossible to create images that are able to express the complete experience of being alone in lonely mountains sitting on the top of a high mountain and observing a magnificent comet. Although the images show the comet better than I was able to see with my eyes, one think is missing. The feeling of empty space around me. Therefore I created the following two images. The first one showing the countryside was taken just after sunset with 28 mm wide-angle lens (full-frame chip camera). Into the second image I merged an exactly aligned image of the comet taken 85 minutes later.
