Corona and SOHO EIT 30.4nm composite

This image was created by replacing the Moon obscured part of the Sun by SOHO EIT He II 30.4nm image. It is clearly visible that the lunar angular diameter is bigger than the solar one.

ProcessingComposition of 3 images. Images were aligned by means of phase correlation technique (PhaseCorr 3.0) and then processed using Corona 3.0 software by means of adaptive kernel convolution. Composition with SOHO image and final processing done by ACC 6.0.
