Shortly after the End of Total Eclipse

Each lunar eclipse is unique because the color and brightness of Earth's shadow is changing according to the properties of Earth's atmosphere. The 1997 total eclipse was bright and colorful one. The Moon was of deep red-orange color in total phase. Compare it with May 16, 2003 eclipse which was dark and the Earth's shadow was of brown-orange little saturated color.
