Eclipse at Sunrise
The observing of the partial solar eclipse, of course, has nothing to do with the total one even if
it would be of 99 per cent size. However, the May 31, 2003 eclipse was in our country worth
observing because the eclipse started before sunrise. I had never seen before that day the deeply red
eclipsed Sun rising over the morning foggy horizon. This image was taken from the top of
Table Mountain near Mikulov in Southern Moravia at five o'clock of local time.
