My daughter Hana Druckmüllerová joined the expedition of Úpice Observatory to Novosibirsk in Russia. The group observed from the ionospheric observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Klyuchi about 15 km far from Akademgorodok in Novosibirsk. The weather was miraculous. Although it was very changeable the days before the eclipse including a thunderstorm two days before the eclipse, the sky was totally clear during the totality.

Hana's participation on the expedition was sponsored by Zdeněk Andrýsek. The Linux software Multican, used for control of two Canon cameras, was created by Jindřich Nový and was running on Linux Fedora.

Images taken by Constantinos Emmanouilidis in Akademgorodok in Novosibirsk are presented on this page as well.

Constantinos Emmanouilidis joined the Shadow-tracking expedition project before the eclipse. His high quality data enabled us to make excellent high resolution images of the inner corona.
