Corona up to 4 solar radii

This image is very similar to this image. It is made from the same data sets. The only difference is that the 640 mm focal length William Optics lens image set was used as the main image set and the other sets were aligned with this set. That is why the resulting image has wider field of view.
 
The image contains a lot of very fait stars some of them very near to the Sun. The magnitude limit is about 11. The stars are not round because the Sun is moving rather fast among the stars - about 1° per day. The star trails are of different length because every image part consists of different images taken in different time. The trails of bright stars are usually longer because they are recorded on more images than the faint stars. Some stars are double dots which look like caused by images misalignment. It is not the reason is again Sun movement.

ProcessingComposition of 120 eclipse images (26 (1), 33 (2) 61 (3)). Eclipse images calibrated by means of dark frames and flat-fields, aligned by means of phase correlation, composed by means of LDIC 5.0 software, processed using Corona 4.1 in order to visualize coronal structures. Final processing was done using ACC 6.1 software.
