PM-NAFE processed SDO AIA videos
Videos presented in this page were processed by means of
PM-NAFE (Planckian
Mapping - Noise Adaptive Fuzzy Equalization) algorithm. This algorithm was
developed in order to take the full advantage of fantastic
SDO
AIA solar corona images which have unprecedented quality and
cadence. All videos are of the maximum available quality which means that
the video files are huge. Please, DO NOT CONVERT these videos to lower quality more
compressed videos. It makes no sense to invest enormous amount
of energy and time for video creation and then to devalue the work by devastating
lossy compression.
